Open your microphones properties and on the listen tab check that "listen to this device" is enabled (checked box) and that CABLE Input is selected in the drop down menu.

If still no mic activity is detected please disable listen to this device (uncheck box) and save it. You will then need to download and install Voicemeeter.

Once you have installed and restarted your PC open the Voicemeeter control panel from start menu.

On the left hand side under HARDWARE INPUT 1 set your microphone device.

On the right hand side under HARDWARE OUTPUT A1 set CABLE Input.

Now when you speak you should see activity in the Voicemeeter control panel.

Restart Resanance. You should be prompted to reselect devices. This time select Voicemeeter Input and default device.

Lastly open menu (top right) in Voicemeeter and select "Run at startup(System tray)" to prevent any need to change default devices or start the program each time.

Restart Resanance as admin after starting the game.

Some keys aren't accepted due to being incompatible with the way I've implimented Push to Talk. Mouse keys for example seem to get flagged by Battleye as cheats as such I have decided not to include this functionality yet.

If the key you normally use for Push to Talk doesn't work in Resanance then choose a key that you don't use in games F11 was the one I chose.

After setting your chosen key in Resanance open your VOIP program and add another push to talk keybind for the new hotkey

This is by design. Each sound needs it's own bit of memory to be loaded into. The more sounds the more memory needed as such I have limited it to 15 simultanious sounds before resetting to prevent any memory leaks occuring.

I will increase the amount in future as my programming ability improves

All money made from donations or advertising goes into making Resanance better. I use the money to pay for the server, licenses and certificates needed to improve Resanance. Any extra money I split between the smarter developers than me and the support staff who help people like you everyday. Personally I don't get any I just enjoy writing code.

I advertise to fund the project. I personally am not making money from this. Any money generated is used to pay for the server,licenses and certificates needed to make this program better.

I only allow adverts that have been through me so there's no chance of malware or viruses making it through the process. The adverts are only an image and a URL to go to when the image is clicked.

If you want to advertise your website, Discord, YouTube, Twitch or whatever as long as it's relevant then please get in contact with me. Prices are cheap and there's a lot of eyes on them every day.

I used to play with someone who didn't talk and could only communicate through the use of a soundboard. When we moved to Discord there wasn't anything fast enough that they could use. I felt bad for them so made this.

A friend said I should post it on Reddit and here we are just under a year later with more users than I ever could have imagined.

I probably can do yes. As long as enough people want it or I think it would be a fun challenge I will happily include it in my list of things to add!
